to promote Eco Tourism in nagaland the government must first have its own tourism website giving details about the state tourist destination and the required documents to visit the places such as ILP facility online where the tourist can get the ilp from any place in india online and for foreigners and destination everything shown on the website

In order to apply the points in my previous comment. It should not be done half heartedly. One should be determined and willing to put an effort in it. The local youth should be given the opportunity and should be encouraged to carry out eco friendly and sustainable actions for a better tomorrow. That way, you are not only educating them but also making young entrepreneurs.
There are so many graduates with fresh ideas and this is a very good innovation and platform for us.

We can take Doyang for example here.
1. Proper and safe bird watching towers can be built
2. Well trained guides
3. Water sport can be introduced with proper safety(seasonal)
4. Benches in and around the forest so that tourists can relax while enjoying the surroundings
5. Encourage our people to sell traditional food not just wine. Here we can take the example of the Khasis in Meghalaya. They have food stalls, small emporiums in every tourist spot.

Improve communication without disturbing natural beauty and environment.Show glimpses of natural beauty of Nagaland should be presented to all through media. This will make Nagaland an Eco-Tourism Destination.

Nagaland can evolve a distinct brand image in tourism. Ecotourism emerges most successful when it is made participatory like, adorning traditional costumes /jewelry and move around with locals, trying out cooking the local cuisine and enjoy it hot and fresh, learning some local craft or simply watch them doing , participate in local folk dance, staying in the traditional styled Eco-lodges as 'Homestays' , trekking and trailing with local guidance, appreciating the local traditions etc.
